The hotel was in a good location just off centre of village, the supermarket and restaurants and the supermarket. The staff was incredibly nice, they were always available. Stayed in an a double room room, it was tidy with freezer, a shared Bath...

Great location! the place is smack dab in the center of the village, so you've got restaurants right at your doorstep 🍽️. It's super convenient being so centrally located!

Nice, smart, clean room. Great location for Chambord and Blois. Tasty food in the bar downstairs. Friendly staff. Good value for a family room. Fresh breakfast with fresh bread and unlimited drinks. Good atmosphere with two terraces and a pool table. Children enjoyed the place.
Nothing to complain about at all.

I recently stayed at this charming hostel in Mer for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The hostel offers bike rentals at a very affordable price, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The equipped kitchen was a great convenience, allowing me to prepare my own meals. I also appreciated the TV and the selection of books and magazines available for guests to enjoy. The atmosphere at the hostel was incredibly homey, and the owner, Stephan, was kind and welcoming. The included breakfast of croissants and coffee was a lovely touch.
I would definitely recommend this hostel.

The rooms are accessed via an exterior staircase and have a medieval construction feel. Thin walls in the rooms, causing noise disturbances. The toilet and shower produce growling sounds. The hotel entrance is through a shop and uncomfortable TV room. More suitable for backpackers.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, with comfortable beds and pillows. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Additionally, the bar, restaurant, and patio provide great facilities for both guests and locals to enjoy.
The upper floor rooms may be difficult to reach for those with health concerns.
